MIDDLESEX .


At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session-House for the said County, (by adjournment)
on Thursday the Fifteenth Day of April in the
thirtieth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc. Before William
Mainwaring
< no role > , William Phillemore< no role > , Nathaniel Concert< no role > , Richard Taylers< no role >
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said Lord the
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County

Whereas the Church wardens and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of
Saint Botolph without Bishopsgate in the City of London Have at this
present Session Exhibited their Petition and appeal setting forth That by an
Order or Pass warrant under the Hands and Seals of Philip Dyot< no role > and D. Walkers
Esquires two of the His Majestys Justices of the peace for the County of Middlesex (one
where of being of the Quorum) bearing date the twenty second day of March last
Sarah Wood< no role > Single woman was removed and conveyed from out the Parish of
Saint clement Danes in the said County of Middlesex to the Parish of Saint
Botolph without Bishopsgate in the city of London aforesaid as the place of the
last legal settlement of the said Sarah Wood< no role > whereby the petitioners conceived
themselves aggrieved Now upon hearing the said Appeal and what hath been
Alledged by the respective church wardens and Oversssers of the poor of the said
Parishes their Counsel and Witnesses in and concerning the Premises It is
Ordered that the said appeal be and the same is hereby dismissed and the
said order or pass Warrant of the said two Justices is here by confirmed And
it is further ordered that the Church wardens and overseers of the poor of
the said Parish of Saint Botolph without Bishopsgate do maintain and
provide for the said Sarah wood< no role > until they can free themselves from the charge
there of by due course of Law.
