MIDDLESEX


AT the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session-House for the said County, on Monday in the Week next after the
Feast of the Eliphany to wit the Eleventh Day of January in the
Thirtieth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain Etc. Before William
Mainwaring
< no role > John Pownall< no role > William Bleamire< no role > , Nathaniel Conant< no role >
Esquires , and other their Fellows, Justices of our said Lord the
King, Assinged to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid, and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County

Whereas Barnard Dolan< no role > Did at the last General Quarter Session of the peace
held in and for the County Exhibit his petition and Appeal setting forth That by a certain
Consiction under the Hand and Seal of George Reid< no role > Esqr one of His Majestys Justices of the peace
for the said County of Middlesex bearing date the twelfth day of September last He was
convicted before the said Justices for that the petitioner on the Tenth day of September
last did in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the County aforesaid use and wear
upon a certain Garment called a Waitcoat One Dozen of Buttons bound with Cotton being
a Stuff that Cloaths a Waring Garments are usually made of contrary to the Statute in
that Case made and provided and he was thereby adjudged to have forfeited the Sum of
Forty Shillings, whereby the Petitoner conceived himself aggrieved Now the said Appeal
Coming on to be heard and the said George Reid< no role > Esquire being solemnly called to forth
and support the said Conviction but not appearing non any Person on his behalf and proof
being made upon Oath that a true Copy of the Order of Court for the hearing and determining
the said petition and Appeal at this present Session had been personally served upon him
It is Ordered that the said Conviction be and the same is hereby Quashed
