for a Nusance.

Patrick Leonard< no role > of Virginia Street
in the Parish of Saint George in the East in the
County of Middlesex one of the above named
Defendants in the above Prosecution maketh Oath
and Saith That he this Deponent through Iquorance
and not knowing the custom and practice of this
worshipful Court has omitted to enter his being to try his traverse
to the Bill of Indictment Preferred against him and
hissaidWife at the JuneSessions last holden for
the said Country by the said John Thompson< no role > But this deponent saith
he is willing and desirous to try his said traverse
provided the said Court will permit him to respite
his Recognizances until the next Session of the
place to be holden in and for the said County
