MIDDLESEX .


AT the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session-House for the said County, (by adjournment)
on Fridaythe Twenty fourth Day of Aprilin the
Twenty ninth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc. Before William
Mainwaring
< no role > , William Bleamire< no role > , Nathaniel Conant< no role > , Thomas Gordon< no role >
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said Lord the
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County

Whereas Abraham Seger< no role > Did at the last General Quarter Session of the Peace held in
and for this County Exhibit his Petition and Appeal setting forth That by a certain
Conviction under the Hand and Seal of William Hyde< no role > Esquire one of His Majestys Justices of
the peace for the said County of Middlesex bearing date the fourth day of December now last
past He was Convicted before the said Justice of setting on the Twent ninth day of November
last to one Ann Killenor< no role > One pair of Leather Gloves exceeding the price of One Shilling and
four pence (to wit) of the price of One shilling and six pence and subject to a Stamp [..]
of Three pence with a Stamp on Mark of less Denomination than by the Act is directed to
be affixed being affixed to the said Gloves (to wit) with a Stamp of the Denomination
of Two pence contrary to the Statute in that Case made and provided and was
adjudged to forfeit for the same the Sum of Twenty Pounds whereby the Petitioner
conceived himself aggrieved which said Appeal stood duly adjourned unto this Session
Now the said Appeal coming on to be heard and the said William Hyde< no role > Esqr. being
solemnly called to come forth and support the said Conviction but not appearing nor any
person on his behalf
