Middlesex


His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex in Session
assembled having approved of the necessary Designs and particular Description
of the several Materials to be used and works to be performed in Erecting and
building a House of Correction for the said County in Cold Bath fields in the
parish of Saint James Clerkenwell do hereby give notice that Copies
thereof may be seen, and a Printed Description of the several works and
also a form of proposal had at the Clerk of the peace 's office in the session
House on Clerkenwell Green every day (Sundays excepted) between the Hour of Ten
and Three and that the said Justices will meet at the Session House aforesaid
on Thursday the Tenth day of January next To receive proposals for
Executing the several waks by Pieces or for One Sum for each respective Work
Or for one Specific sum for the whole or for Executing the Foundation of ale
the buildings to the underside of the Stone Plinth and to so much of the
Boundary Wall as may be considered as the foundation thereof all which
generally marked in the Designs with Red

A Draft of the Contract to be Entered into may be Same
and any other Information had by applying as above, No proposal and
be received after Twelve o Clock of the day abovementioned and good Security will
be required for the due performance of the work
