Indicted for a Misdemeanor on the
prosecution of James Rylance< no role > .

Joseph Ridgway< no role > of Islington in the County of Middlesex Victualler
the Defendant abovenamed John Newman< no role > of the same place Gentleman
and James Culverton< no role > of the same place Carpenter severally make Oath and
say and first this deponent the said Joseph Ridgway< no role > for himself saith
that the above Indictment being found against this Deponent at the last Session
he this deponent pleaded not guilty there to and entered into Recognizance
with Sureties to take his Trial at the present General Quarter Sessions of the
peace holden for the said County And this Dependant saith that soon after the
last Session of the Peace he this Deponent procceed a Cosy of the Indictment
against him which appeared to this Deponent to have been found upon the
Evidence of James Rylane< no role > the prosecutor and also of one John Atkins< no role >
And Deponent not knowing the place of abode of said prosecutor
made diligent Enquiry to said out the same in order to same the said
James Rylance with notice of Trial for this present Session but Deponent
was not able to obtain any further Intelligence of the said prosecutor but
that he rended in the County and frequentty travelled to hand or and
Edged at the Golden Lyon Inn in Saint John Street in the said
County And there Deponent the said Joseph Ridgway< no role > and John
Newman< no role > of or themselves [..] worally say that on thee eleventh day of
October instant they there Deponent cocat to the Golden by on Inn
aforesaid of and there made Enquiry in order to find out the place of
abode of the said prosecutor whom Mr Fisher the Master of the said [..]
informed there Deponents that the said prosecutor Requested his
true but that he did not know where Sd. prosecutor hold [..] breloneld [..]
make Enquiry [..] Deponents thereof And the said Joseph
Ridgwon for himself further with that he went to the said Mr Fisher
[..] at the said Eleventh day of October to get [..]
