he went out of the Room & desired Markwickham to look to him
when he returned he found the Prisoner gone, Markwickham
said "he was there this Minute" when he went to the Door
he found his wife there, but the Prisoner was gone & he
has never seen him since, but does not doubt but he
can retake him before next session

John Markham< no role > was next called in who That his fellow Servant brought the
Prisoner down to take his Trial that they were both in the
Goal together, but that Nash took the Prisoner out, that he
afterwards saw them in the Publick House, that they were
there before himNash went out on some Account, but
said nothing to him, that he did not see the Prisoner
go outNash did not say any thing to him where he
was going-Markwick [..] called out to him asking where he
was going he said he would be back immediately-Did
not bid him give an Eye to the Prisoner to his Knowledge
thought it careless for him to go out without saying some
thing to him knowing him a Prisoner he gave an Eye to
him as he thought, but he slipped out without his
Knowledge

Being: Nash called in again says he has been out eight
Nightsin payment of the Pair and hopes to be able shortly to take
him TheGentlemenMagistrates therefore in order to give thekeepers
the sd. Benj: Nash< no role > Servants an opportunity of retaking the sd John Mc Neal< no role > beforegetting the Man between this time
the next Session-Resolved that the further Consideration of
this Business be adjourned till the next Sessions

Sir Robt Taylor< no role > informed the Court that
he had met the Agents of Jervoise Clerke Jervoise< no role > Esqr . & others in
consequence of the request made to him for that purpose Mr.
Holland not having been able to attend but that he thought it
by no meansbe propera disable for the County to enter into
