Read the Minutes of the last Meeting of the Committee

Read the Letter from the Lord Mayor of the City of London in the
following words vizt

Mansion House 12th. November 1785

"Sir ,

"You will be pleased to inform the Committee of this Majestys
"Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex by whose directions
"you have wrote to me requesting a Conference with the Magistrates
"of this City on the present Mode of passing Vagrants from hence through
"the County of Middlesex that Your Letter on that Subject shall be laid
"before the next-Court of Aldermen

"Iam,

Sir,

Your most Obedt. Servt.
"T Wright Mayor .

"The Depy. Clk of the peace "
"for the Co. of Middlesex "

Mr. Adams attending was called in and delivered an Account
of the Number of Vagrants passed by him in through and out of this
County from October Session 1782 to October Session 1785 distinguishing the
Number removed from the City of London pursuant to the Order of the
Committee at the last Meeting of which the following is a Copy vizt.
