IN, pursuance of an Order made at the last General Quarter Sessions of
the Peace for the County of Lancaster , you receive inclosed a Copy of the
Report of the Committee of the Magistrates for the Counties of Chester and
Lancaster , respecting the Expences of maintaining, conveying and shipping
Vagrants in the said Counties, and also a Copy of an Order referred to by
such Report; and I am directed to express the Confidence which the Court of
Quarter Sessions for this County entertain, that the Facts contained in the
said Report, and the Recommendation of the Committee of Magistrates mak-
ing the same, will be taken into Consideration, and duly attended to by the
Justices in your County, and the inferior Jurisdictions within the same,
before whom you are desired to lay the inclosed, at their next General Quar-

same. And I must beg the Favour of a Line from you, acknowledging the
Receipt hereof, and informing me of the inclosed Papers having been taken
into Consideration by the Magistrates of your County, and the inferior Juris-
