To the Worshipful his Majestys Justices of the peace
for the County of Middlesex in their General Session
of the peace assembled.

The humble petiiton and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Saint Paul
Shadwell in the County of Middlesex .

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a pass Warrant or Order under the
Hands and Seals of Herbut Hayo and William Blackmore< no role >
Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the peace acting in
and for the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the
Quorum) bearing date the eighth day of August last past
Cotton Thompson< no role > aged thirteen Years. Mary Thompson< no role > aged
eleven Years Elizabeth Thompson< no role > aged nine Years and John
Thompson
< no role > aged six Years the Children of Cotton Thompson
deceased were removed and conveyed from and out of the
parish of Saint George in the County of Middlesex to the
said parish of Saint Paul Shadwell as the place of the last
legal Settlement of the said Cotton Thompson Mary Thompson< no role >
Elizabeth Thompson< no role > and John Thompson< no role >

Your petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved
by the Adjudication of the said two Justices
and therefore humbly appeal to this Court
against the Same and pray your Worships
will appoint a day in the present Sessions
for the Hearing and Determining the said
Appeal
