To the Worshipful His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middlesex in their General Quarter Session of the Peace Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of
the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. Martin
in the Fields within the Liberty of
Westminster in the County of
Middlesex .

Sheweth.


That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under
the Hands and Seals of St. Sampson Wright< no role > and
Edward Naish< no role > Esquire two of His Majesty's Justices
of the Peace for the City and Liberty of Westminster
in the County of Middlesex (One whereof being of the
Quorum) bearing date the Eighteenth Day of July
last Thomas Henry Selwood Arnold< no role > Mary< no role > his
Wife and their three Children (to wit) Anna Maria< no role >
aged Five Years Naomi< no role > aged three Years and William
Thomas
< no role > aged Two Months. was Removed and conveyed
from and out of the Parish of Saint George Hanover
Square within the said Liberty and County to the
Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields . within the
Liberty and County aforesaid. as the place of their
last Legal Settlement whereby Your Petitioners
conceive themselves Aggreived

Your Petitioners therefore humbly
Appeal to this Court against the
Adjudication of the said two Justices
and their said Order and pray that
your Worships will be pleased to
Appoint a Day in this present
Session for the hearing and Deter
mining the said Appeal.
