A Motion was made and Seconded that a
Committee be appointed to inquire whether the
whole or what part of Mr Jervoise's Ground in Cold
Bath fields can be obtained and at what price and
what is the value thereof and whether it be
practicable to apply it to the purpose of erecting a New
House of Correction thereon and that the Committee
report all such other Circumstances relating thereto
as may tend to explain this matter in the fullest
manner
