To the Worshipful: his Majesties Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex in their General
Session of the Peace at the Now Session House
Clerkenwell Green Assembled.

The Hamble Petition and appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Paul Covent Garden within
the City and Liberty of Westminster in the
County of Middlesex .

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or order under the
hands and Seals of Thomas Gilbert< no role > and Thomas Gordon< no role > Esquires Two
of his Majesties Justices of the peace Acting in and for the City of
and Liberty of Westminster and County of Middlesex aforesaid
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the Twelfth day
of February one thousand Seven hundred and Eighty five Thomas
Bert
< no role > was removed from the Liberty of the Rolls within the
said County to the said Parish of Saint Paul Covent Garden as the
place of his last legal Settlement Whereby your Petitioners
think themselves aggrieved and do appeal to this Court against
the same.

Your Petitioners therefore pray this Court will
be pleased to appoint a Day in this Session
for the hearing and determining of the said
Appeal And that all persons concerned any
be then directed to attend

And your Petitioners shall pray Etc
