Committee it was suggested that the said Mr Haines into whose Conduct
they were then inquiring was not actually in the Commission of the peace
for that the Name John Haynes< no role > standing, therein was designed for and
was only a continuance of a Gentln. of that Name who was in the former
Common of the peace for Westmr. which Issued in 1779 The Commee
therefore witht. proceeding further in their Inquirys respecting the
Misconduct of the said Mr Haines as a Justice of the peaces
examined the Common of the peace issued in 1783 and the proceeding
Common issued in 1779 and found the Name of John Haynes< no role > in both
Commons spelt with a y (the said John Haines< no role > of [..] Chapel Street
Westmr. spelling his Names wth. an i.) And the Names of John Haynes< no role >
in the Common of 1779 being well known to be meant for a Gentln
at that time residing in Bedford Row and still alive and now
Residing at Cranford in Middx the Committee had no doubts
but that the name John Haynes< no role > in both Commons meant one & the
same Pson and Mr Haines of Westminster was acquainted therewith
and was desired to explain why he considered himself as the
Person Meants in the last Common of 1783 which he pampting
refused to do.

And this Depont further Saith
That This Matters being reported by the Commee to the
Sessn. The Bench That [..] it proper
