To William Mainwaring< no role > Esguire and the
rest of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
assembled in their General Session of the peace
at Hicks's Hall on Clerkenwell Green in
the County of Middlesex

The humble Petition of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of Arnold
in the County of Nottingham .

Sheweth


That by a Pass Warrant or Order under the Hands
and Seals of James Fielding< no role > and William Gowan< no role > Esquires
two of his Majesty's Justices within the Liberty of
Westminster in the County of Middlesex bearing date the
twentieth day of March last John < no role > aged about twelve Years
and William < no role > aged upwards of nine Years Children of
William Cutts< no role > a Soldier by Mary < no role > his Wife (gone from
him) were removed from and out of the Parish of Saint
James's Westminster in the said County of Middlesex to
as their last legal Place of Settlement.

That your Petrs conceive themselves aggrieved by
the said Order and apprehend that the Settlement of the
said John abd Williams not in the said Parish of Arnold

Your Ptitioners therefore most humbly
pray your Worships that they may be
at Liberty to enter the said Order at the
present Sessions holden in and for the
County of Middlesex and try the Same
at the next ensuing Sessions for the said
County

And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc
