On the Prosecution of
Lincoln for an Assault

James Lincoln< no role > of Great Shire Lane in the Parish of
Saint Clement Danes in the County ofMiddx Middlesex
the Prosecutor abuse named maketh Oath and saith that he
this Deponent did at the last General Quarter Session of
the Peace holden at the Session House on Clerkenwell Green
in and for the County of Middlesex aforesaid prefer a Bill of
Indictment against the abovenamed Defendants and which
said Bill was returned a true Bill by the grand Inquest, to
which the said Defendants appeared, for leaded and put in Bail
to Try their Traverse at this present Session And this Deponent
further saith that he did on Wednesday Evening last receive the
Notice hereunto annexed that the Defendants would appear and
Try their Traverse at this present Session but further saith
that he hath searched with the Clerk of the Peace if the said
Defendants had entered [..] a Venire or allowed a Writ of Certiorari
and on such search was informed that no Venize was entered
nor any Writ of Certiorari allowed by the said Defendants
