THE Examination of Thomas Gray< no role >
named in the annexed Pass Warrant, apprehended
by the Churchwarden and brought
before me, one of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace in
and for the County of Middlesex .

Who upon Oath saith, That he was born in the Parish of Bishop
Warmouth in the County of Durham and never was bound
an Apprentice not ever lived as a hired Servant for a year nor ever
rented a house of Ten pounds a year or upwards nor ever served
any Parish office nor ever paid any Poor Rates or Kings Taxes not
ever did any Act to gain a Settlement in his own Eight.
