To the Constable of the Parish of St. Botolph withour Aldgate, in
the County of Middlesex , or the Headborough there: And also
to the Contractor employed for the passing and conveying of
Rogues and Vagabonds within the said County; and to all
Constables and other Officers whom it may concern, to receive
and convey; and to the Church-wardens, Chapel-wardens, or
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Sunderland
in the County of Durham
or either of them to receive and obey.

WHEREAS Davis Anderson< no role > was

apprehended in the Parish of St. Botolph without Aldgate , aforesaid, as a vagabond
Videlicit Wandering [..] begging there

and upon Examination of the Said Davis Anderson taken
before me in Writing, and upon Oath; which Examination is hereunto annexed,
it doth appear that his last legal Settlement is at the Parish of Sunderland
in the County aforesaid: Theses are therefore to require you the said
Constable, or other Officer to convey the said Davis Anderson
to the House of correction at Clerkenwell . from
whence, the said Contractor is to convey him to the Parish of Ruge in
Herthereshire that being the first Parish in the next
Precinct, through which he ought to pass in the direct way to the said Parish
of Sunderland to which Parish he is
to be sent, and to deliver him to the Constable, or other Officer of such Parish
in such next Precinct, together with this Pass, and the Duplicate of the Examination
of the said Davis Anderson taking his Receipt for the same: And
the said Davis Anderson is to be thence
conveyed on in the like Manner to the said Parish of Sunderland
there to be delivered to some Church-warden, Chapel-warden, or Overseer of the
Poor of the same Parish, to be there provided for according to Law. And you the
said Church-warden, Chapel-warden, or Overseer of the Poor are hereby required
to receive the said Person and Provide for him as aforesaid. Given under my
Hand and Seal this Second Day of December1783
