Mr. Charnock is Manags to Mr. Smith the Kings
up [..] and happening to be Evidence on an
Indictment agt. Richard Hodges< no role > and others for keeping
Common Gaming Houses has Occasion'd great Rancowr in
the breast of then persons

11th. Decr Insant

Mr. Charnock having finished his business
of the say went to a Public House near Temple Bar
to make this prison

While Sitting with his pipe in his Month All
the above named Defendant came in about 7 in the
Evening Carty imediately at one Blow Knocked Mr.
Charnock down from off his Chairs on the floor
Thos. Bradly put two Chairs over him to keep him
downHodges Kickt him [..] Cauty - Struck him with
a Stick belonging to Mr. Sharnock which lay on the Table Fricker aided and put out the Candle
in their reced many kicks and bruises the Land lord
however brot. a Candle and then the mischief ceased
and Charnock Crawled out but was pursned by
Collis

Mr. Charnock dlivered before the Grand Jury he thot. this instruction was
to Murder him
