Alley Ratclif in the County of Middlesex
Mariner Maketh Oath that on the twenty sixth
day of November last She received the annexed
Notice of Tryal whereupon she caused four several
Witness to be Subponaed to give Evidence on the Try [..]
of this Indictment and gave Instructions to her Solicitor
to Prepare a Brief for Council and this Deponent further
paith that on the second Day of December [..] instant
she received the annexed Countermand of [..] such Notice
And this Deponent on her Oath saith that on Thursday
Evening last Mr Fow [..] who became Bail for the
said Defendant as this Deponent believe came to this
Deponent at her House in Ship Alley aforesaid and told
this Deponent that she would not become Bail for the
said Defendant any more and further that the said
Defendant intended to come up to the Session held for
this County on this Day to plead to the above Indictment
for which she was to Pay Seventeen Shillings and six
Peace and that she She the said Defendant was to give
one [..] nea to each of the Persons intended to become
Bail for the Said Defendants bying her Traverse on
the Said Indictment.
