Henry Barnell< no role > of Little Present Street Hardwaxman
maketh Oath and saith that having been bound by Recognizance
to appear to Answer the Complaint of Walter Bolger for an Assault
he this Deponent at the last Session aforesaid and Pleaded to the
Indictment and put in Bail to try the same at the Present Session
And this Deponent Saith that since the last Session he has made
diligent enquiry by himself and others to find where the said Walter
Bolger was to be met with but has not yet been able to learn where
the Said Walter Bolger resides or is to be met with And this deponent
saith that on the Fifteenth day of July last being the day mentioned
in the Indictment against this Deponent he this Deponent
was standing at his own Door When two Men were fighting he
this deponent did not interfere any further than saying he
would send for a Constable to take them away And Castly
this Deponent saith that the had no Knowledge of the Said Prosecutor
before and has not seen him since the Indictment was preferred.

Sworn at the General Session of the Peace
of our Lord the King holden in and for the County of
Middlesex at the Session house for the Said County by adjournment on
Monday the 8th. Day of december 1783}
