Middlesex


At a Meeting of the Committee of
His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex appointed to carry
into Execution the Rebuilding such
part of Chertsey Bridge as his within
the County of Middlesex & holden at the
Guildhall in King Street Westminster
an Friday the 20th day of Decr 1782

Ordered that Mr John Benson< no role > the Treasurer of and for
the County of Middlesex do upon sight hereof pay unto Mr
Charles Brown< no role > the Contracter for building a New Bridge
at Chertsey in the County of honey the Sum of Four
Hundred Pounds being a Moiety Payable to the said
Charles Brown< no role > under a Certificate from James paine< no role > and Kenton Cause Esqrs. the Architects for building
the said Bridge pursuant to the Contract entered by the
said Charles Brown< no role > with his Majestys Justices of the
Peace for the Counties of Middlesex and Surry for
building the said Bridge
