the Rebuilding Such part of Chertsey bridge
as his within the County of Middlesex
holden at the Sessions House for the Said
County on Friday the 22d day of November 1782

do and he is hereby required forthwith
upon sight hereof to pay unto Mr Charles Brown< no role >
the Contractor
for building a Now Bridge of Stone a cross the River Thames
in
lieu of the present ancient Timber Bridge called Chertsey bridge
the Sum of One Hundred and Ninety Six Pounds Seven
Shillings and Two Pence being a Moiety payable to the said
Charles Brown< no role >
by his Majestys Justices of the peace
for the
County of Middlesex
under a Certificate from the Architects to
the said Committee for Extra Work according to the Conditions of the Contract
entered into by the said Charles Brown< no role >
with His Majestys
Justices of the Peace
for the Counties of Middlesex
and Surrey for
building the said Bridge
