of his Majesty's Treasury, or the High Treasure for thetime
being to issue and allow to the Treasure of the said County
of Middlesex from time to time, till such Certificate shall
be made as aforesaid such Sum or Sums of Money as
shall appear to be reason able in Aid of such extraordinary
Expences, not exceeding the Sum of three hundred pounds
for one year and so in Proportion for any Longer or
Shorter time

and that in the effectingwhichthis a great deal was owing to the
Countenance and assistance of his Grace the Duck of Northumberland
Sir William Blackstone< no role > Knight one of his Majestys Justice of
the Court of Common Pleas , Sir Herbert Mackworth< no role > Baronet
George Bing< no role > Esquire and William Mainwaring< no role > Esquire
Resolved and Ordered tha the Thanks of this Court be
returned to his Grace the Duke of Northumberland Sir William
Blackstone

William Mainwaring< no role > Esquire for their obliging attention to
the Interests of this County in obtaining the insertion of a clause
in the bill now depending before the House of Commons entitled
A Bill to explain and amend the Laws now in being relating to
the Transportation and the Imprisonment of certain offenders
highly beneficial to the County.

And William Mainwaring< no role > Esquire being now here present
the Chairman returned him the Thanks of the Court accordingly

Ordered that the Clerk of the Peace do wait upon his
Grace the Duke of Northumberland with the and tob e of Charles and Shat he do imagine of copy thing Sir William Blackstone< no role >
