become chargeable to the said
Hamlet

Thomas Parker< no role > one of the Overseers of the Poor of the
Hamlet of Poplar and Blackwall in the County of
Middlesex maketh Oath that Sarah Hill< no role > the
Pauper abovementioned hath in her Voluntary
Examination taken on Oath Before John Sherwood< no role >
Esquire one of His Majestys Justices of the Peace in &
for the said County the fourth day of June last Sworn that
sometime in the Month of November last and several
times since one Joseph Duggin< no role > of the Parish of St. Anne
in the said County Labourer had the Carnal
knowledge of her Body and that she is with Child
by him with one or more Child or Children which is or
are likely to be Born a Bastard or Bastards and
to become Chargeable to the said Hamlet of Poplar
and Blackwall and that he is the Father and did
Beget the said Child or Children with which she
is PregnantThat the said Sarah Hill< no role > is now
Chargeable to the said Hamlet and that she is
not Yet delivered of the said Child or Children
with which she issoPregnant as afsd. and that he this
Deponent did on Saturday the Sixth day of July Instant Personally
serve the said Joseph Duggin< no role > with a True Copy of the Notice hereunto
annexed in the House of Correction at
Clerkenwell which hath not since been
Counter manded to his knowledge and
Belief.

Sworn in Court at the General Quarter
Session field in and for the said County
by Adjournment on Monday The 8th
day of July 1782}
