To His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex in their General
Session of the Peace holden in and for the said County at Hicks Hall in Saint John
Street by adjournment on Thursday the Sixteenth day of May in the Twenty Second Year
of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third King of Great Britain Etc assembled

We whose Names are hereunder Subscribed Commissioners appointed
among others for putting in Execution an act of Parliament made and passed in the Twenty
Eighth Year of the Reign of King George the Third entilted "An Act for authorizing the Justices of
the Peace for the County of Middlesex to sell the present Session House for the said County and for
"enabling them to build another Session House in a more convenient Situation and to keep the same
"in Repair; and for applying the Sum of Eleven Thousand Pounds to be borrowed upon the Credit
"of the Surplusses of a certain Fund commonly called the Orphans Fund) towards defraying the
"Expense of Building the said Session House" Do Certify that it appearing unto us upon and all other Sums of Money thereby accruing
are exhausted in defraying the Expenses of Building the said Session House and the other
purposes of the said Act, that the said New Session House is not yet compleated nor the other
expenses of the said Act wholly defrayed And it also appearing by the Abstract of the several
Bills for Extra Works in the Erection of the said New Session House and the information of Mr.
Rogers and the several Workmen concerned in the Execution of the said Building that the
Commissioners are liable to further demands on account of the erection of the said Session House
and for the other purposes of the said Act of Parliament to the amount of £4000 and upwards
and that the Sum of £4000 and upwards is wanting and necessary for compleating the Building of the said New Session House for this County
and for defraying the other expences of the Act of Parliament by virtue of which the said Session
House is erectedandWe do therefore Certify theSamepremises in order to the said Justices ordering and directing the
Treasurer of the said County to pay out of the Money by him received or to be received by virtue of
an Act of the 12th Year of his late Majesty King George the Second entilted "An Act for the more
easy Assessing Collecting and Levying of County Rates" to Charles Eyles< no role > Esquire Clerk and
Treasurer to the said Commissioners appointed by virtue of the said Act the Sum of Four Thousand
Pounds to be applied for the purpose in the sd act mentd. pursuant to the directions continued in the and Act. Dated.
