Read the Minutes of the last Meeting
Mr. Eyles Reported that pursuant to the Incons
of the Committee at their last Meeting he had Transmitted to Mr
Alderman Crosby a fair Copy of the whole of the Proceedings of
this Committee and that he had received the following Resolutions
from him vizt.
Plomer Mayor
At a Court of Aldermen held on Tuesday
the 7th. day of May 1782 and in the Twenty
Second Year of the Reign of King George
the Third of Great Britain Etc.
Resolved tha the Representations for this City in parlia
ment and such Members of this Court as are Members of
Parliament be desired to Cooperate with the Justices of the peace
for the County of Middlesex
or any other persons in brink in
a Bill to suppress the Game of E. O. and other Games of
Chance which now prevail to the Ruin of many Unhappy
Persons in this Metropolis
Rix.
Adjourned to the 13th. Instant same place
