To the Worshipful His Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex in their General Quarter Session of
the Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of St. Giles in the Fields in the said County

Sheweth


That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order
under the hands and Seals of Sampson Wright< no role > and John
Hagar
< no role > Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
acting in and for the said County (one whereof being
of the Quorum) bearing date the fourth day of March
last directed to Thomas Grint< no role > and Thomas Nixon< no role >
Overseers of the Poor of Old Lincolns Inn in the said
County and to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields in the
said County Mary Bale aged Seven Years and Henry
Bale
< no role > aged Ten Months Children of Richard Bale< no role > deceased
by Susanah< no role > his Wife also deceased were removed and
Conveyed from and out of Old Lincolns Inn aforesaid
to the said Parish of St Giles in the Fields as the Place of
the last legal Settlement of the said Mary Bale< no role > and Henry
Bale
< no role > whereby your Petitioners are as they conceive aggrieved

Your Petrs. therefore Humbly Appeal to
this Court against the Adjudication and
Order of the said two Justices And pray that
your Worships will please to appoint a day
in the present Session for the hearing and
determining the said Appeal
