Middlesex


To the Worshipful His Majestys Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex at their General
Session of the Peace assembled

The humble Petition of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint James Westminster inn the County
of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order of
Removal under the Hands and Seals of Sir James Edaile
Knight
< no role > and Jenkin Jones< no role > Esquire two of this Majestys Justices
of the Peace for the County of Middlesex bearing Date
the 11th. Day of February Instant Joan Hopkins< no role > Wife
of John Hophins< no role > (who is gone away and left her) was
removed and conveyed from the Parish of Saint Luke
in the said County of Middlesex to the said Parish of
Saint James Westminster as the Place of her last legal
Settlement whereby your Petitioners are aggrieved

Your Petrs. therefore humbly appeal to this
Court against the Adjudication of the said two
Justices and their said Order and pray that
your Worships will please to appoint some
Day in the Present Session for the Hearing
and Determining this Appeal And to Order
That the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Parish of Saint Luke and all persons
concerned do then a Hand this Court

And your Petitioners shall ever prays
