County of Middlesex , to convey, and to the Church-
wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint George in the County of Middlesex
to receive and obey.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto
us whose Hands and Seals are hereunto set,
being two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in
and for the County of Middlesex aforesaid, (one
whereof being of the Quorum) by the Church-
wardens or Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
of St. Matthew , Bethnal Green, that Mary Poldon< no role > Wife
of Robert Poldon< no role > (who was Imprest and sent on Board one
of his Majestys ship of Warr called the Lodon) and their four
children namely Nathaniel < no role > aged eight Years or thereabouts (who hath
gained no Settlement in his own right) John < no role > Aged six Years allow abts.
Mary < no role > aged three Years or How abouts and Eleanor < no role > Aged ten Months
a there abouts have come to Inhabit in the said Parish of Saint
Matthew Bethnal Green not having gained a legal Settlement there
and are like tobecome Chargeable to the same;
we the said Justices, upon Examination of the Pre-
mises upon Oath and other Circumstances, do ad-
judge the same to be true, and do also adjudge the
Place of the last legal Settlement of the said Mary
Poldon< no role > and their said Children Namely Nathaniel,
John, Mary and Eleanor is in the said Parish of
Saint George in the said County of Middlesex

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name and by
virtue of the Statutes in that Behalf, to require you
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of St. Matthew , Bethnal Green , on Sight
hereof, to remove and convey the said Mary Poldon< no role > and
her said four Children
from and out of your said Parish of St. Matthew ,
Bethnal Green , to the said Parish of Saint George in the said
County of Middlesex and them deliver to the Church-
wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or to some
or one of them, together with this our Order, or a
true Copy hereof, who are hereby required to re-
ceive and provide for them according to Law.
