To the Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of the
Peace in their General Quarter Session of the Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the parish of
Saint Giles in Reading in the County of Borks

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under
the Hands and Seals of James Clitherow< no role > and John Dunkwater< no role >
Esquires two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middx (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the
28th day of April last past Olive< no role > the wife of John Heath< no role > and their
four Children one named Sarah< no role > aged about nine years another
named Mary< no role > aged about six years another named John< no role > aged
about five years another named William< no role > aged about two years
were removed and conveyed from and out of the parish of Heston
in the County of Middlesex unto the parish of Saint Giles Reading
as the place of their last leagal Settlement Whereby the Petitioners
conceive themselves to be aggrieved.

Your Petitioners therefore humbly pray
that the benefit of their Appeal may be
saved unto them and the hearing an determining
there of may be adjourned until the next
Session
