Worshipful His Majestys Justices of the peace for the
[..] of Middlesex in their General Session of the Peace

The Humble Petition of Henry Bell< no role > of No. 229
High Holborn in the Parish of St. Giles in the
Fields within Holborn Division in the said
County Shoemaker

Sheweth


That your Petitioner being informed of the intention
[..] Mr John Wild< no role > to resign the office of High Constable of
[..] said Division and having been mary years an
Householder in the said Division and conceiving
himself capable of executing the Duties of that offce
she applied to the Magistrates residing and acting
in the said Division requesting to be nominated by
them as a fir Person to serve the same and has had
[..] which will appear (as
your Petitoner is informed) by the Minutes of a General
Meeting of the said Magistrates holden on the 15th..
day of May Instant in which your Petitioner is
returned to the present Session for the approbation of
your Worships

That your Petitioner is ready to give the
Security which he has been informed the said
Magistreates have recommended to be required
from the Person to be chosen into the said office

Your Petitioner therefore most humbly
Prays that your Worships will be pleased
to elect him into the said office and if so
fortunate us to meet with your Approbation
it shall be his constant on dearsour to
deserves a Continuance thereof by a faithful
and diligent discharge of the Duties of the
office

And your Petitioner will ever pray etc
