Poor of the Parish of Saint Botolph
without Aldergate London , and the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint John at Hackney
in the County of Middlesex
and to every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Said
Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldergate
London, That Fanny Cressey< no role > , Singlewoman
did
lately come to reside in their Said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and is likely tobecome charge-
able thereto,unless [..] prevented,which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said [..] as otherwise do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Fanny Cressey

to be in the said Parish of Saint John at Hackney
within the said County of Middlesex
and that thithereto she ought by Law to be Sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldergate
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Fanny Cressey< no role >
and also her two children to wit Sarah< no role > aged five Years and
Thomas< no role > aged one Year [..] the [..] of [..]
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint John at Hackney in the County of Middlesex [..]
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to Some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this 13th. Day of April One Thousand
Seven Hundred and seventy nine.
