to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Alce Owen in the County of Salop
and to each and every of them

WHEREAS Complaint has been made unto
Us, two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and
for the City and Liberty of Westminster
aforesaid, (One whereof being of the Quorum) by the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint George, Hanover-Square , That
Elizabeth Ward< no role > the Wife of Daniel Ward< no role >
with has Three
Children Phoebe< no role > Aged about Eight Years, Jone< no role >
Aged about five Years and Edward< no role > Aged about
Three Months have
lately intruded, and come into the said Parish of Saint
George, Hanover-Square , an are
become Chargeable to the same, We the said Justices,
upon Examination of the Premisses upon Oath, and
other Circumstances, do adjudge the same to be true,
and do also adjudge the Place of the last legal Settlement
of the Said Daniel Ward< no role > Elizabeth his Wife and
their Three Children Phoebe, Jane, and
Edward to be in the Parish of Alce Owen
in Shropshire

THESE are therefore, in His Majesty's Name, to
require you, on Sight hereof, to remove and
convey and said Elizabeth Ward< no role > and her
Three Children
from and out of your said Parish of Saint George,
Hanover-Square , to the said Parish Alce Owen
and them deliver unto the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor there, or to some, or One of them,
together with this our Order, (or a true Copy hereof,)
who are hereby required to receive and provide for
them according to Law. Given under Our
Hands and Seals this 19th. Day of July 1769
