the Soldiers who Came in with him to go up Stairs
That then Mc. Coy the Deceased Went up by himself
And the Capt. and the rest of the Soldiers Staid in
the Passage or about the DoorThat he did not
hear any Conversation pass or any Scuffle after the
Soldier was up Stairs [..] But in a very tittle time
Informant heard the Report (he thinks of a Pistol)
That imediately upon this Report Mc. Coy the Deceased
fill to the bottom of the Stairs in the Passage
That at that time the Capt. and theOther of the
Soldiers who Came into the House with him were at
the bottom of the Stairs near the Door And the
Tap Room Door and the Street Door were both Open
Saith he Cannot Recollect whether the Deceased Mc Coy
had his Firelock or any Other Arms with him
when he went upThat as soon as Mc. Coy
fell to the bottom of the Stairs the Capt. Orderd the
test of the Soldiers to Load and FireThat as soon as Possible
after the Orderd the Soldiers fired from the Passage
up the Stairs towards the Room where the Cutters
wereThat then the Capt. Ordered Two of the Soldiers to stand of the Tap Room [..] these that no One came out and orderd those Soldiers
(who were in the Passage ) into the Street and Drew
them up before the House and Ordered them to
Fire into the Room where the Cutters were
That they accordingly Fired Sevt. times in at the
Windows of the Room where the cutters were
That a little time afterwards the Serjeant (Informant
thinks) Proposed the Going up Stairs
