Informations of Witnesses severally Taken and
Acknowledged on the behalf of his Majesty the Second
day of October in the Ninth Year of the Reign of
Our Sovereign Lord George the Third King of
Great Britain Etc. At the House of William Rawlins< no role >
known by the Sign of the Dolphin in Cock Lane in
the Parish of Saint Mathew Bethnall Green in
the County of Middlesex taking the oath of
before Thomas Shillings< no role > One of the Coroners for the
said County touching the death of Adam Mc. Coy< no role >
then and there lying Dead as follow (to wit)

William Rawlings< no role > Saith he keeps the Dolphin Alehouse
in new Cock Lane That last Saturday or Friday
fortnight Two or three of the Persons who Appear
since to be Cutters Came to Informants about Eight or
Nine in the Morning And Askd Informant if he
could Entertain a few Friends and upon his
Answering YesThey Desired to See the Room
And Informant Shewd them his One of Pair of
Stairs Club Room that on Saturday for tnight
there Came sevl. of them But Informant Saith he
don't know the Number for he was not at Home
Saith he does not Recollect the hour that he Came Home
that EveningThat last Saturday Night Informant
had an Information (he being a Custom house Officer)
agt. a House in the Parish of Marybone And did not
Come Home till about Eight in the Evening
That when he Came Home His Wife said to him
They are above StairsBy which Informant
