WHERAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, whose Hands and
Seals are hereunto set, Two of Her Majesties Justices of the
Peace of the County of Middx
(Quorum unus) by the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Hambett of Bethnal Green in ye Parish of Stepney in the said County, that
Thomas Inns< no role > and Martha< no role > his wife are
lately come into the said Hamlett endeavouring to settle
themselves there, without giving Notice in Writing to the said
Church wardens, or Overseers of the Poor, or any one of them of the House
of their abode in the said Hamlett according to
the Statute in that Case made and provided: And that it also appears unto
us by the Complaint of the said Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the said Hamlett of Bothual Green that they are [..]
[..] become chargeable to the said Hamlett And whereas it appeareth
unto Us the said Justices, upon the Oath of the said Thomas Inn< no role > 's
that he was last legally settled in the Parish of Padbury
near Buckingham in the County of Buck's where he Lived many
year's And was an Inhabitant few above the space of forty
day's next before the nineteenth day of May in the peace of
our Lord One thousand six hundred Eighty five And some
time afterwards and peth gaved noe legall settlement since
There are therefore in Her Majesties Name straitly to Charge and Com-
mand you, and every of you, forthwith, upon sight hereof, to remove and
convey the said Thomas Inn's< no role > and Martha< no role > his said wife
out of your said Hamlett to the Parish of Padbury in
the said County of Buck's
and deliver them unto the Church-Wardens, and Overseers of the
Poor there, who are hereby required to provide for them
according to Law: Hereof fail not at your Perils. Given under our Hands
and Seals, the Ninth day of Decembr Anno Dom 1707
