Upon Oath before me the 22th. day of
December Anno Dom 1707

Who Saith that abt. five a Clock in the Evening
the day abovesaid this Informant being Up two
paire of Staires in the house of Mr John Cole< no role >
Churchwarden of White Chappell , abt. her lawful
Occassions but comeing down Staires heares a [..]
below her Open & goeing into the Same found
a person Standing Upright Upon the bedd in the
Chamber one paire of Staires wth the Curtaines
of the bedd drawn abt. her, And this Informt.
Ashed her to She did there who replyed She
came to look for Chipps, And this dept. hearing
Such an Imperfect Answere, made Enquiery
farther into the Room to See what was lost
(She Suspecting her to be a Theife) & found
Sevall Drawers in the Said Room Open, And
that She had Opened a Closet wherein the
Church place Stood in a Truck, And She
had Removed the Same out of its Place wth
a designe to Steal itt, And this Informant
Saith that the person She Soe found as abovesd.
