Sr

Wee understand that James Jackson< no role > one of the
Porters of our Inn & his sonn were indicted att your Sessions
on Friday last for an assault upon a Hackney Coachman.
James Jackson< no role > is indicted by a wrong name as wee are
informed; and they were both taken up by a Bench warrt on
Saturday last in the evening & bound by recognizance before me
Ralph Bucknall< no role > to appear att your Sessions to be held by
adjornment this day, Upon examinacon of this matter wee
find itt to be frivolous and that the Coachman was impudent
& would feed his horses within the Inn contrary to our direccon
whereupon a scuffle happened and the porter & Coachman
next to boxing and noe great damage was done on either
Side, Now our request to you is that you would order the
recognizances of Jackson & his Sonn to be respited to yor next
Sessions that may enquire further into this matter & you
will oblige

Sr Yor humble Servts
