who stand bound to try their severall traverses this present sessions upon
an Indictmt. preferred against them for chargeing

begotten on the body of the sd. Mary Lane< no role > wth. intent to exact
& have a great sumo of money of him the sd William
Johnson< no role > This name instance is in set 4690. , It was alleadged that the sd Mary Lane< no role > als
Goswell< no role > is now big wth. the sd Bastard child, and that
she hath [..] made oath that the sd. Johnson did begett the
same And that the sd PSecucon was carryed on wth.
intent to deterr the sd Mary Lane< no role > als Goswell< no role > from
chargeing the sd Johnson to be Father of the sd Child
It was therefore prayed And this Court doth accordingly
Order that the triall of the sd severall traverses be
deferred & put off untill the next Generall Quarter Sessions
of the peace to be held for this County unless the sd.
