Overseers of the poor of the pish of Paddington in this
County

Sheweth

That by order dated the 9th day of June last under then
hands & seals of Joseph Short< no role > & Benjamin Hilton< no role > Esqrs two of her
Maties Justices of the Peace for this County (quord number) one [..]
Hugh Edwards< no role > a poor impotent pson was lately removed from the
Pish of St James Clerkenwell in this County to the sd Parish of
Paddington as the place of his last legall Settlemt

That your Petr find themselves aggrieved by the said order of
removall & doubt not but to make itt appear to this Honble
Court that the said Hugh Edwards< no role > hath noe legall Settlement in the
sd Parish of Paddington

Your Petrs therefore humbly appeal agt the sd
order of the said two Justices & pray that Yor
Worpps would be pleased to appoint a day [..]
[..] this prsent Sessions for the Churchwardens
& Overseers of the poor of the sd pish of St James
Clerkenwell other pties Concernd to attend
this Court accordingly to hear & abide the Judgt
& determination of this Court upon the sd appeal
