Whereas upon hearing of the appeale of Tho: Sanders< no role > James Jennings< no role >
wm. Beeth< no role > & other Inhitants of the Towne of New Brentford in this
County at the last Generall Quar. Sess: of the peace held for this County
agt. a rate made the 8th. day of March last for releife of the poor
of the sd. Towne of New Brentford wherein the names of Richd.
Longland< no role > Jon. Wheeler< no role > & Francis Danford< no role > Land holders in-
the sd Towne & Tennts . to Christophr. Clitherow< no role > Esqr . one of her
Maties. Justices of the peace for this County who hold hands in the
sd. Towne to the val of £180. paid were not incerted and the
as. Appell. praying to that the sd rate might be set aside and that a former rate made the 18th. day of
Feb: last for the releife of the poor of the ad. Towne might
Qur. Sess: of the peace held for this County, It was then Ordered
that both the sd rates should be set aside & vacated, And that the
Chappell wdens. & Ov. of the poor & other Inhitants of the sd Town
of New Brentford should pceed to make a new rate for
the releife of the poor of the sd. Towne pursuant to the
direccons of one Act of parl made in the 43th. ye. of the reign
of the late Queen Eliz: Intituled An Act for the releife of the
poor and that such sume & sumes of money as had been
pd by any of the Inhitants of the sd Towne towds. either of the
sd. former rates should be allowed them for or towds. the sume
or sumes of money to be assessed on them by the sd new
rate see that noe pson or psons night be doubly charged,
