At the Delivery of the King's Goal of Newgate holden for the County of Middlesex
on Wednesday the ninthday of December 1778

Whereas Josiah Ferney< no role >
hath at this present Session beenConvictedTried and Acquitted of Felony on the Prosecution
of John Holley< no role > and Johnand the saidLewis a Witness
having prayed to be allowed for his Expences and loss of time in the said
Prosecution which this Court think reasonable It is therefore Ordered by
this Court that the Treasurer of this Countydo forthwith pay to the said
John Lewis< no role > the Sum of eleven Shillingsfor
his Expences and loss of time
