Quarter Sessions of the Peace for the said County the said

was Indicted tried and found Guilty of Assaulting and Wounding

on Assistant to
William Downs< no role >
an Officer of the Custo

and for the said Offence and Misdemeanour the said Court of Quarter Session
did Sentence the said

to pay a fine of Five Pounds and
be committed to the said Prison until he should pay the said Fine

into this Court and be discharged by Order of the same Court And
also informing the Court that the said

is ready to pay
the said Fine Pursuant to the Sentence of the said Court of Quarter
Session But in Regard that the said Fine will not be Estreated
according to the Course of this Court before next Michaelmas Term
It was Prayed that

for the said County or his Deputy may be directed to return an
Estreat of the said Fine into this Court forthwith Whereupon
and upon hearing the said Mr. Mingay and reading an Affidavit of the
