Shoreditch in the County of Middlesex Gentln. Sollicitor for the Defendant
Richard Linden< no role > and Richard Longworth< no role > of the Old Bailey London Gentln.
severally make Oath and Say And first this Depont Peter Averillo< no role >
for himself Saith that he did on the Fourteenth day of this Instant
January make a Tender and pay down to the prosecutor in the
presence of Mr. Jobson his Sollicitor at the Mitre in Union Street
Westminster aforesaid the Sum of Five Guineas being all the
Monies that the said Defendant could raise (as he informed this
Deponent) in lieu and Satisfaction for Damage the prosecutor
Sustained in this Cause And this Deponent further Saith that
at the time the Tender was so made by him as aforesaid to the
said James Sheridan< no role > the prosecutor he Absolutely refused to
Accept of the said Five Guineas And the said Richard Longworth< no role >
Saith that he was by and present and did Seethea Tender also
made by the said Peter Averillo< no role > of the said Five Guineas to the
said Prosecutor, but he refused to Accept of the same
