MIDDLESEX .


At the General Quarter Session of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the County
of Middlesex , at Hicks-Hall , in Saint John-Street ,
(By adjournment) on Thursday the Eighteenth
Day of Aprilin the Sixteenth Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, King of
Great Britain, Etc.

It is ordered that the hearing and determining the matter of an
Appeal between the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the
parish of Saint Paul Covent Gardens Appellants and the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Saint James Westminister
respondents touching the settlement of Mary George< no role > Singlewoman
which stood duly adjourned unto this day do stand further adjourned
until the next General Session of the peace to be holden for this County
and on Notice hereof in the mean time to be given to the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Saint James Westminster
they and all persons concerned do attend the Court at Hicks Hall
aforesaid on Thursday the twenty third day of May next at the
hour of nine in the forenoon of the same day to hear and abide the
Judgment and determination of the said Court touching the
said Appeal
