To the Workshipful His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for
The County of Middlesex in the General Quarter Session
of the Peace of the said County Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of Saint George Hanover Square
within the Liberty of Westminster in the
County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an order or pass Warrant
under the Hands and Seals of Two of His Majestys Justices of
the Peace in and for the City and Liberty of Westminster (one
whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the Twelfth day
of October 1775. Elizabeth Twalling< no role > Singlewoman aged
Twenty one years was removed and Conveyed by the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint James within
the Liberty of Westminster from and out of the said Parish to
the said Parish of Saint George Hanover Square as the place of
the last legal Settlement of the said Elizabeth Swalling< no role >

That your Petitioner conceiving themselves to be
aggrieved by the said Order or Pass Warrant humbly Appeal
to your Worships against the same and that the Benefit of
the said Appeal be saved unto them and the hearing and
determination thereof be Adjourned over until the next
general Sessions of the Peace for the said County
