That last Friday Evening the said James Lintot
told him that two Men had been with him who had threatened
to charge him with having Committed So doing that they
had leftward they were gone to a Public House & the boy
from the Sign of the Cock
coming to His Master House
telling this Informant that Two Men bee wet the Cock
who wanted James (meaning James Lintot) this
Informant went to the Sign of the Cock

That on the Saturday Morning following this Informant
saw Hastings and Puller come to the Door of his
Masters House. and the other Informant James Lintot
being there. Hastings sayd to Lintot somebody wanted
to speak to him at the Public House when Lintot
seemed very Unwilling to go with them where they
say'd to him why don't you come along if you do not
it shall be werse for you
