To the Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of the peace for the County
of Middlesex in General Quarter Session of the peace at Hicks Hall in
the said County Assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of Mongwell in the
County of Oxford.

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a pass Warrant or Order under the hands
and Seals of Thomas Miller< no role > and Henry Lambe< no role > Esquires two of his
Majesty's Justices of the peace acting in and for the County of
Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the
thirteenth Day of December last Sarah Axalar< no role > and her Female
Child aged about two Years were removed and conveyed from the
Parish of Chiswick in the said County of Middlesex to the said
Parish of Mongwell as the Place of the last legal Settlement of
the said Sarah Axalar and her said Female Child Whereby
Your Petitioners conceive themselves to be aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore humbly Appeal to this
Court against the Adjudication of the said two Justices
and their said Order And pray that the benefit
of this Appeal may be saved to Your petitioners
and that the hearing and determining thereof may
be Adjourned to the next General Sessions of the
peace to be holden for this County.
