Middlesex to wit

Be it remembered that on this twenty sixth day of
January in the fifteenth Year of the Reign of his Majesty George
the third King of Great Britain and so forth at the Parish of
Saint Paul Covent Garden in the County of Middlesex Richard
Howard
< no role > of Bath Street in the Parish of Saint James Clerkenwell
Servant cometh in his Proper Person before me Sampson Wright< no role >
Esquire one of his Majesty's Justices assigned to keep the Peace
of our said Sovereign Lord the King in and for the County
aforesaid and also to hear and determine divers felonies trespasses
and other misdeeds committed within the said County and maketh
Complaint and Information upon his corporal Oath to and
before me the said Justice that Joseph Wilson< no role > of the Parish of
Saint James Clerkenwell within the said County Victualler being
at a Meeting of his Majesty's Justices for the County of middlesex acting
in Finsbury Division in the County aforesaid holden at Hicks's Hall
in Saint John Street in and for the same Division on Wednesday
the fourteenth day of September one thousand seven hundred
and seventy four licensed by John Walford< no role > Esquire and Sir James
Esdaile
< no role > Knight two of the Justices of our said Lord the King
assigned to keep the Peace of our said Lord the King in and
for the said County and also to hear and determine divers
Felonies trespasses and other misdeeds committed within
the said County (one of them being of the Quorum) to Keep
a common Ale house and to utter and sell Bread and other
Victuals Beer Ale Cyder and other Liquors in the house wherein
he then dwelt and now dwelleth being the Sign of the Ben
Johnson

aforesaid for one Year to commence on the twenty ninth
